I have seen many strong men fall in front of me. I have endured storms, violence, battles. I have seen birth, death, crying, laughing. I have been threatened one thousand times but death could not find me. It is as if friends and enemies, love and lack of love, were looking for me; and then I realized how important is to contemplate and for this art I left big conflicts and took big opportunities. I may be unimportant for many but I am edifying for others.

My message often overcomes the intelligence not by diminishing it but there is an attribute formed in my essence, which is some kind of knowledge and has to do with the art of enjoying life.

How beautiful are the seasons! how great is the sky and the ocean! how wonderful was the day of yesterday, the day of today and will be the day of tomorrow. I look at life from my door, I look at life from my window, I look at life from the beginning, I look at life from my destiny but I do it with a power that gives me control, that helps and gives me great understanding; does not annul me, does not inhibit me, does not age me, does not diminish me, on the contrary, it makes me grow in humility.

The fact is that I am a very special art and I will always be something to achieve for everybody. Because I am: Patience.

The Dissatisfied People

There was a high mountain -proudly rising, almost touching the stars and on its sides, strange people lived, who were somewhat fool and were always complaining of living by the shadow of the mountain.
"It blocks the sunlight, the vision of the horizon, a big portion of the ocean, we can't even see the stars. It is necessary to make this mountain flat, so we can see the horizon, the stars and a lot more." And their determination was such that they dynamited the mountain during many years and the day came when there was no mountain.
The horizon and the stars could be seen but they were surprised when their neighbors from near by villages, wanted to have their land. Then, they were attacked because there was no longer a mountain protecting them, and also, the strong sunlight burned their fields, while the winds like crazy warriors scattered the ashes and the people who had lived by the side of the mountain, bitterly cried contemplating the stars and the horizon until the moment that the people who did not understand nor appreciate their natural frontier, turned into dry sand and dust that the wind blew away.
And the story goes that the years passed and those people are not even remembered. And the persons who would arrive to that place, would say: " How beautiful this land could be, if it had a big mountain so its presence could be a natural barrier to care and protect, but this is a dream that will never happen"

The Heart of Stone

The look of that person, speaks to me about a lost world, hurt feelings, deep confusions, a wounded heart.
It is a soul who goes around in the world, suffering and crying out that his heart is of stone. It does not want, not for a moment to sense what he feels. It is a force that burns, drowns and accuses. He surrenders in his heart to the greatest terrible expressions. And he says to himself: ” I do not want to feel, to live, I do not want that the most powerful force of the universe touches me with its light.
My past frustrations plunged me in the darkness, where, I have the security of the nothing. I have a heart of stone, which is harder than steel, colder than a universe of ice because I keep in it a secret, a secret of Love, which I want to contain, to trap, to asphyxiate because it reminds me that I have life, that there is blood under my skin, that the passion raises me, that the desire consumes me and the tenderness fascinates me. But I chain myself and at the same time, I escape. I fill myself with thorns, I surround myself with monsters and I get together with trash. And in this way, I allow to feel the dignity. I bury myself under everything and under nothing. I want to hide my face because I want to flee from True Love.
My heart is of stone, it has become hard and even in front of the powerful ones, its power is stronger because I do not want to let know that an angel of light inhabits inside.
My heart is of stone and to my surprise, it is a transparent diamond, where the light is reflected. This light liberates me of doubts and fears and I can no longer avoid it; this heart of stone is a heart of light. It is translucent and crystalline. I can’t avoid it since the tear of Love has penetrated deeply and only in it and through it, I will know the reality of my being. My heart is of stone, of a precious stone, which wants to surrender, you only have to come and look for it.”

Happiness. For Reflection

Happiness can’t be learned. It has to be experienced, realized, discovered, recognized within as a true experience of life. It is not something that you can read about, or that can be copied or imitated. It has to blossom like a truly genuine experience.
However, there are paths, processes, but they are not a replica. Each person has his special way to live and to be. Happiness is to feel love for all in existence. And this is only the beginning. But it is not only to say or to believe that we are happy, we have to experience it. It is not the opinion or the experience of others, it is our own process of life.

How can You have Mastery over Yourself?

I see you but you do not see me. I feel even the last drop of your breath, and know what is in your mind, even more: There is not a secret that has not being revealed to me. I know your steps, even your confidence, which is in my hands.
Wherever you go, I will follow, then: How can you have control? How can you have mastery over yourself and the others? You must know how to act. I can interpret the things ahead of you and then to meet you with certainty because you will never be able to run away from me.

If today may have been a difficult day and if tomorrow may be even more, it is very important that the difficulty never becomes a way of going into seclusion or knocking down for us, but becomes the means to get ready to always give the best of ourselves.

Beyond Time

Today, is a new day and just as if we were a tree, we lean on the ground. Sometimes, this ground is not clean, sometimes, the tree is watered with blood, with desperation, frustration, wrath and necessity. But our past, is a story that we haven't finished.

It is where the book begins. Tomorrow, later, our future will arrive. If we have the capacity, the honor, and the happiness of understanding and overcoming our lamentations, we will understand the mystery of evolution.

The Differences

We are different, too different, maybe excessively, and is better to be apart, perhaps is better this way. Maybe is not possible to change, not even to say, to have an opinion, nor feeling. We are forbidden of everything, forbidden of feeling, of touching, of everything even of nothing.

The fact is that our differences do not have a possible conciliation, if I exist, it is too much for you and if you exist is too much for me, and death should not be the alternative. Go, follow your path, do not come back, because if you do, one of us will disappear.

But what can be as large, as impertinent, as violent, as dramatic, as impossible?

Perhaps you still do not realize? They are the Fire and the Ice.

Reflection

In order to reflect about Virtue we would have in principle to be virtuous and how to be even before what we seek to be?
The secret of this paradox is found in humility. This is the smallest and at the same time the greatest of all virtues.
Let's meditate upon this and our heart will brighten up! Every path has its beginning but by fragile that it may be it indicates a great achievement, therefore the road to virtue and accomplishment is always based on Loving and Loving.

The Cause of Unhappiness

There are persons in this world, who are resentful of the happiness of others, just as if happiness would harm them. Besides, they consider themselves as the only ones who deserve all goodness and make out of their own lives a tragedy of frustration and misery. And why all this happens ? Is perhaps that the person does not have capacity or abilities ? Not quite, the person might have a great capacity of intelligence but what truly happens is that there is no spirituality, there is no commitment to Peace and Love. There is, instead, an inner torment of loneliness and anxiety, for the simple and direct fact of envy. This is an addiction, a terrible compulsion, which lacks love and which also ignores the effort of others, while not wanting to recognize what is obvious since all effort has merit and is an achievement. The envious person has not open her heart, he/she is blind because of the terrible incapacity of valuing and respecting; this is a very lonely life, with great confusion and small consciousness. True spirituality promotes emotional and psychological values since spirituality does not admit hypocrisies, arrogance, pride and self deceit.Then, every one who is not happy has to know that the reason is that he/she does not love, does not miss the need of a human family, of a universal family. But this can change, this must be overcome, this lack has to be faced, it is necessary to win over evil and search for goodness. It is essential to exercise and practice the spiritual life, not as doctrine of loneliness , but as a living practice of communion and universal union. Since, not been happy is path of destruction and death, total abandonment; let's learn to leave behind, all motives, causes and reasons which are not truly reasons of life and let's walk the path of happiness, of peace and let's search for prosperity for all, this is truly humanism, and is spiritual consciousness.

Giving and Receiving

There is nobility in receiving and even more in giving; there is a celestial order in this process. Who cares for the plant, will receive its fruit and this will give seeds and heaven will have perpetuity.
If we receive and give is because receiving is mutual and in truth there are no opposites. Then, the secret in this brightness is always based on Kindness.

Trust. Dignity. Respect

Trust is the foundation of our unfolding as human beings. This means to build our consciousness with the highest values of dignity and respect for everyone and also means, self esteem and self respect. Trust is an inner force, which we are able to live and to transmit when our heart does not know deceit since to be real and true, is of great importance in the spiritual path and is the foundation of the inner and outer peace. To be able to realize and live in a world of peace and prosperity, is essential to protect our mind and heart, acting in the right and fair way. This, will increase our faith and the heart will start vibrating with the purpose of Love. And trust will flow, filling us with Love for everyone. Let's cultivate the purity of heart and action, since this is true spirituality.

The Mysteries of Man. For Reflection

I was once trying to understand the mysteries of man and while meditating, I found myself in the middle of two cities. It was very late at night and everything was dark. These cities were very different, but somehow they had some resemblance. I wanted to watch what was happening and I saw these two men, each one in a different city. On both places, there was a light on, and these men were working very hard. They were shoemakers and both were saying at the same time: " I want to conquer the other city because no one is worth the effort here " The funny thing was that both wanted to conquer, not their city, but the city in front of them. A whim of destiny, had separated these men, since they were born together as twin brothers but unfortunately, after losing their parents, they had been separated and given to two different good working families who had raised them and helped them become shoemakers. And by even greater whim of destiny, they both made the same shoe models. They would come and go from one city to the other, working very hard and doing very well selling their shoe collection. But they always would think to themselves: "No one appreciates my work in this city, but in the other city, they certainly do." And they did not know that each one of them, was supplying the other city. They had not realized that the shoes being sold in the other city, were similar to the ones sold in their city.

Then, I could understand that man limits himself, thinking that nobody appreciates him. And he also thinks that he must make an extraordinary effort to reach some stability and he does not realize that the greatest peace, tranquility and happiness are found in his own hands. He looks beyond but in fact everything is always here, not far away.
